A QR attendance kiosk: just show the ID card
A tablet, PC or laptop at the entrance becomes the clock-in point. No phone needed, and attendance is kept while the internet is down.

Problems you may recognise
Not every employee can clock in from a phone
Field staff and shift workers often have no suitable phone to clock in with.
The time clock lives apart from the roster
Data from the time clock has to be exported and matched with the roster by hand.
Office internet is not always stable
When the network drops, attendance is lost or written down again by hand.
What you gain
ID cards with a QR code
Cards are printed from the dashboard, one per employee, and can be reissued when lost.
Works offline
The kiosk keeps attendance while the internet is down and sends it on its own once it is back.
Never recorded twice
A rescan shortly after shows "already clocked in" instead of being taken as a clock-out.
How it works
Set up the kiosk
An admin creates a kiosk for the site and pairs it with a code on the tablet or laptop.
Print the ID cards
ID cards with a QR code are printed from the dashboard and handed to employees.
Show the card
The employee shows the card to the camera and the screen shows the name and time at once.
