An online employee attendance app that records from the work site

Employees clock in and out from the phone browser, and the location is checked against the site radius, so your attendance records can be trusted.

An employee clocks in with a phone on arriving at the work site

Problems you may recognise

  • Buddy punching and clocking in from home

Paper sheets or chat groups are hard to prove: who actually came to the site?

  • Summaries rebuilt at every month end

Data from paper and photos is gathered one by one before payroll.

  • Lateness found out too late

Supervisors only learn who was late or absent once the summary is done.

What you gain

  • Verified location

A clock-in is accepted when the phone is inside the site radius and the GPS accuracy is good enough.

  • No app to install

A browser on an Android phone or iPhone is enough. Clock-ins from a laptop are refused, so attendance stays at the work site.

  • Exceptions show at once

Late, unscheduled or a missing clock-out goes to a queue for supervisors to review.

How it works

  1. Set the work sites

An admin places each site and its radius on the map, per branch.

  2. Employees clock in from the phone

Employees open WELGI in the phone browser, detect the location and tap Clock in.

  3. Supervisors review

Attendance goes into the summary; anything off the roster shows in the exception queue.

Questions about this feature

Do employees have to install an app?

No. Attendance runs in the phone browser, for example Chrome or Safari.

What if the GPS is not accurate?

The clock-in is refused until the location is accurate enough. Employees are asked to switch on GPS or move to a more open spot.

Is a face photo required?

No. There is no photo by default. A company can switch on selfies per site, with separate consent from each employee.

Can employees clock in from a laptop?

No. Personal attendance is only accepted from a phone. At the office, employees can clock in at the QR kiosk.

Do the times follow the time zone?

Yes. Attendance times follow the work site's time zone: WIB, WITA or WIT.
